The inflatable salvage sling from OXLEY® is the perfect solution for large sails and small foredeck hatches. A rigid outer skin made of Dacron and an airtight inner tube form the basis of the oval salvage sling funnel.
This design principle makes the funnel particularly robust, durable, and above all, lightweight. It is a technique that originated in the sport of kitesurfing and has been successfully used there for over a decade.
Using a double-action air pump or a compressor, the funnel ring can be inflated in less then a minute. By opening the release valve, the air is released again within seconds, Reducing the space claim and packed size for below deck to a minimum.
